Hey Lyza, 
I will probably never understand to the full capacity of the hurt you are feeling because of horrible circumstances. And at this moment, I cannot tell you that immediately after migrating, your life is gonna be perfect, because I don't know what the odds are against you. All I know is that you're an incredibly strong person, and no matter what, don't ever let anybody or anything change that. Life is not perfect and every single one of us go through trials that we all think we can't overcome. A great someone once said that life is merely a stage, and we are the characters. As someone who has taken drama for a CCA, I'd suppose you'd understand how important it is for a character to do exactly what the script says, because if it doesn't, then the ending will be different from what the writer intended. And I don't think we are in any position to question God's plan for our lives. Things will change, I know it will. And you know what I just learnt recently in sermon? God allows really bad things to happen to us because only when we are desperate for His love will our sincere praise and prayers come out. And when we've realized we need His help more than anything in our lives, we will realize that He has already unlocked a door fir us to walk through. 
Wherever you go after today is probably gonna make you feel homesick. You will remember so many incidences here in Singapore. But remember to make new memories wherever you are. You may not know this, but if you spread the love of God to the people around you wherever you may be, then aren't you already doing missionary? And God told us in the Bible to go and tell the nations of Jesus Christ. 
You have no idea how incredibly proud I am of you and you probably will never know, because words cannot describe it. But just remember that this girl whom you have mentored will always be there for you, no matter what. Thank God for technology. 
I love you like my own older sister, Lyza. We've been through the good times and the bad. And I'm not gonna let this one thing keep us at a distance( pardon the pun ). You are gonna make it through this period of your life, and when you look back, you will be a living testimony.
I'm not gonna say I miss you, because this will not stop our friendship. We will chat often, whether it be over Skype or MSN or facebook or email.
