Sore throats. Crazy screaming. Stupid chasing monkey. Hunger pangs at weird timings and then NOT eating during meal times. Fangirling. Aimlessly trying to change Zven into a gentleman. Worship with the TOFU team almost everytime. Games with the other teams. Breakfast by the beach. I love Team Philip. To the max. And to think I actually didn't wanna go initially.
I thank God from the bottom of my heart for placing me on a group of awesome people and ZVEN!!! :) the poor boy's probably traumatized by me by now:D I cannot believe this group of fantabulous people readily accepted me into their group despite me not joining them the first day because of TOFU. And everyone was so participative at my station, I was so happy:) It was like God showed me the rewards the entire TOFU team deserved to see for sowing the seeds of labor over the span of a few months. And then 13th Crossing happened. I had amazing bunkmates who loved singing songs in the middle of the night nobody knew the full lyrics to. And nobody within the bunk was complaining or anything. And wonderful groupmates who were encouragingly supportive. Honestly I had a good time and I thank every single one of you who were there and made me have fun,despite this camp being a spiritually heavier one.
The sermons were great too even though I kinda wanted to fall asleep towards the end of most of it. And Ken leads devotion well even though we were kinda unresponsive. The first devotion showed me how to appreciate the little things more and now when I look at the clouds or weirdly bent trees or listen to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, i'm gonna think about Philip:)
Our encouragement boards were so fantastically, for the lack of a better word, encouraging! All the cards i got from people were so nice to read, it made me feel glad:) including the anonymous one:D plus I absolutely loved the mass games! Talk about teamwork, man. Ohoh! And Daniel takes really unglam pictures of me ( ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M TRYING TO CATCH A WATER BOMB ). And speaking of Daniel, ftw. We waxed his leg:):):)
So I guess it IS time for me to take up my cross daily and deny myself. Yes Ryan, we're all gonna try to be Rooted To The Word now because repetition builds memory:) and because we are the Light of the world, yeah?
